The Moon Dog Tactic
You may try to summon a group of Moon Dogs from the layer of Amoria in the Outer Plane of Elysium. The realm of Isis contains these Moon Dogs which have a natural disposition against evil creatures. Having these Moon Dogs in your proximity will counter the defensive bonus exhibited by the denizens of the Cube.
Four spells must be cast to summon the Moon Dogs:
1 – Contact Other Plane (Astral Plane, Elysium/Amoria) 2 levels difference = 65% base chance {65/5 = 13; 20-13 = DC 7 (Roll 7 or above on D20)]
2 – Animal Summoning III
3 – Charm Monster (Allowed Save)
4 – Plane Shift
There are various means to boost the spells which have a chance of failure. This will reduce or negate the chance of failure (Luck Points, Influential Artifacts, etc.)
